LMS 4-6-0 46115 Scots Guardsman became the first Royal Scot to Blaenau Ffestiniog, hauling The Welsh Mountaineer for Railway Touring Company. I spent the day chasing the train from Preston to Blaenau, as well as having time for some line-siding on the Ffestiniog with Linda, Earl of Merioneth and David Lloyd George in service.
