Number 8's first day in public service
Friday 27th October 2023
Double Fairlie 0-4-4-0T, Ffestiniog Railway Number 8 James Spooner, hauled its first public passenger trains on 27th October 2023. The new build locomotive hauled the days two Woodland Wanderer service to Tan-y-bwlch.
On return to Porthmadog, the opportunity was taken to line up the three current Double Fairlies in the operational fleet.
