Holy War along the lake
29th May 2016
A very important day in Bala Lake Railway history occurred on Sunday 29th May 2016, as the line ran its first two train steam service with trains passing at Llangower (which itself was for the first time passenger trains had crossed this century). Holy War and Alice did the honours.

A feast of Quarry Hunslet 0-4-0ST's, alongside star billing Kerr Stuart 'Diana', on a variety of passenger, goods and slate empties workings, finishing off with a cavalcade of the locomotives.
50th Anniversary Steam GALA
27th August 2022
Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the line, the event two visiting engines from the Statfold Barn Railway, Minas de Aller No. 2 and Liassic.
