Organised by Bob Branch and David Williams I took part in the F&WHR Photo Charters as part of the big Welsh Steam Extravaganza. On the Welsh Highland Railway Russell was the star of the show, appearing with its own heritage train from the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, joined by Merddin Emrys & Welsh Pony. On the Ffestiniog Railway, the Double Fairlie and Large England, were joined by Small England Palmerston.
