SPRING 2015
Spring 2015 saw two locomotives return to steam at the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway. Both were 0-6-0ST Bagnall's but of differing type. Victor returned to steam in an Indian Red livery, a locomotive famous for her early preservation period at the West Somerset Railway, while the second locomotive was Princess, a former Preston Docks locomotive. Both were repainted by Heritage Painting of Blackbun, and Princess as in her previous ticket carried Caledonian Blue. Unusually Victor for the 2015 season was facing Haverthwaite station. A feature of the 2015 timetable was the use of the Class 110 DMU on an early and late journey, increasing the units use and giving additional panaramic views of the scenic line and offering a chance for a longer day using the line as a park and ride.
