A special members day with Prince hauling a recreation of the Opening Day train. This was followed by the first run of the gravity train from Aughtonside Quarry to Porthmelling Wharf.
Green timetable

Prince was on service trains, the basic Green Timetable, which sees four return journeys with a non-stop 'Y Cymro' service as the third journey.

Rufford Hall hauled a test run with the Flying Bench, which joined the last two passenger services of the day.
Santa Specials
Saturday 24th December 2022
The 2022 Santa event fell on Christmas Eve. Prince was the main locomotive in use, hauling the Santa Specials and Victorian Christmas Train.
We start off with a morning P Way run with Midlander, with the first use of the latest RAF wagon to join the fleet. The loco then took the staff train to Aughtonside and Porthmelling.
Porthmelling was the destination for Santa Trains, with a new attraction of a Carousel present for the event. Rufford Hall took on the role of the Snowman once again and hauled Santa's Goods Trains full of presents and reindeer. One change this year was Santa's Sleigh was an additional train. Rosie took the first Santa Sleigh run, with Midlander taking the second.
